Canine and Feline Dental Anatomy (3 Hrs CE)
To understand the dental pathophysiology of dogs and cats, we first have to identify and understand their normal clinically-relevant dental anatomy. In this module, students learn about important terminology and the clinical applications of dental and paradental anatomy. This includes reviewing the normal anatomy of a tooth, its roots, the gingiva, and other nearby anatomical structures that may impact dental care. A brief overview of age-related changes is also covered.
